In 1959 and for many years thereafter, J. Kenneth Fraser and Associates,
PE, LS, LA, P.C. operated as a small, family-owned company of engineers.
During the past several decades, we have evolved into a multi-disciplinary
firm, earning the respect merited by consistent professionalism, ethics

Mergers:
Fraser and Associates' mergers with the land surveying firm of Edward W.
Boutelle and Son in 1991, and the landscape architecture and planning
firm, Murman Associates, in 1992 were designed to broaden our scope into a
full-service engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, and planning
firm.
Our Staff and Expertise:
In addition to the professional engineers, surveyors and landscape
architects, our firm's offices, located in Rensselaer and Albany Counties,
house a staff of technical personnel including project engineers,
designers, construction observers and field technicians. From our
support staff to our principals, we are committed to excellence in all
aspects of an assignment. We apply innovative and interdisciplinary
approaches essential to using new technologies in a safe, consistent and
cost effective manner.
Clientele:
Our clients encompass both the private and public sector and include
local, state and federal government entities. Because of our
moderate size and controlled growth, we are able to encourage a close
